You will need a shatter proof ball ornament (about 3" in diameter) and 8 or 10 cords 3' each. Use 10 or even 12 cords if you want the scalloped pattern on the ornament to be smaller.  For example, in the red ornament I used 8 cords, and in there blue one - 10. You will need approximatelly 25' of 1 mm cord.

Looks good with a tassel also!
